Huntsville, AL (February 4, 2016) Ruth’s Chris Steak House, the celebrated steakhouse that is currently the exclusive foodservice provider for the downtown Huntsville Embassy Suites Hotel & Spa on Monroe Street, is poised for a mid-year move to Twickenham Place to the space formerly occupied by Asian Rim restaurant.  Ruth’s Chris will join the Homewood Suites by Hilton, Publix, H&R Block and popular restaurants and retail outlets in the burgeoning Twickenham Square.   “We are excited to have a globally renowned steakhouse experience as an anchor tenant in the Twickenham Place development and we are thrilled that this partnership ensures that Ruth’s Chris Steak House will continue to serve the Huntsville community for years to come,” notes Gerry Shannon, Co-Founder and Principal with Triad Properties Corporation.

The move will coincide with Ruth’s Chris Steak House’s tenth anniversary in Huntsville and will feature an updated menu with modern twists on traditional steakhouse classics. “We will open our doors at Twickenham Place with an evolution of our critically acclaimed menu and beverage program that is ideally suited to both longtime fans of the brand as well as a new generation of culinary and cocktail savvy diners,” according to Stephen Ryberg, Director of Alabama Operations for Ruth’s Chris Steak House franchisee, Sizzling Steak Concepts.

Highlights of the “2.0 Menu,” as the menu modification is called by restaurant insiders, include an array of impressive bone-in steaks (a filet, New York strip and a 40 ounce tomahawk ribeye), a creamy lobster mac-and-cheese side and a refreshing crab stack appetizer featuring colossal lump blue crab, avocado, mango and cucumber. Tried and true Ruth’s Chris favorites such as the signature sizzling filet, creamed spinach, the restaurant’s namesake chop salad and New Orleans inspired dishes like barbecued shrimp, stuffed mushrooms and bread pudding with whiskey sauce will continue to round out the menu selections.

“We are fortunate to have cultivated a loyal customer base throughout Huntsville, Madison and the greater Tennessee Valley area over the past decade” notes Nancy Oswald, co-owner/franchisee of Ruth’s Chris Steak House – Huntsville. “As the Embassy Suites ownership team has decided to reduce the footprint of the restaurant facility within the hotel and increase meeting and banquet space as part of an upcoming renovation, we see the move as a prime opportunity to relocate our restaurant to a vibrant new location that better serves the needs of our local guests.”

The new Twickenham Place restaurant will feature a private dining room, perfect for special events and corporate functions, as well as traditional dining room space and a bar/lounge. Ruth’s Chris plans to be serving guests at the newly renovated restaurant at Twickenham Square by the fall of 2016.
